Intro

We recently added a classification option for user and store information, renamed "User Fields" and "Store Fields".

For stores in particular, this makes the display on the page of each store much more readable for mobile users:

This article details how to handle this new possibility.

How to create users/stores fields in bulk

  1. Go on the users or stores parameters tab, depending on which fields you want to create/update, then click on "Import users/stores fields"

  2. Click to download the template of the file available, then complete it with users/stores field name and category

    • To create a new field directly into a category, you need to have created the category before uploading your import file. If you don't fill the category column, fields will be created by default on the "General" category.

    • You can edit a field category by changing it in this import file.

  3. Once your file is ready for import, you can upload it on the same page and all your fields are created!

NOTE: you cannot have 2 fields with the same name

How to update users/stores fields

1. Go on Users/Stores Fields list and click on the pen icon

2. You can now update the name and category of your user/store field.

NOTE: Updating a user/store field name won't have an impact on its value stored (for Campaigns summary, exports, dashboards...)

3. You can also change the display order of your fields by dragging and dropping them.

NOTE: in order to update users/stores fields' values, you can still do it directly by updating users/stores through imports of databases OR through the mobile app

How to manage categories for users/stores fields

  1. Go on the Settings icon on the left panel

  2. You can now (1) Add a new category, (2) Re-order existing ones, (3) Edit categories name, and (4) Delete categories.

3. Once you are ready, just click on validate button. Categories will be displayed on the left panel and clicking on them will enable you to navigate through them.

  • Once a category is deleted, if there were some fields stored in it, they will automatically be moved to the "General" default category.

  • Once you ordered your fields and categories, the order will determine also their display on users/stores page.
