In the context of the migration from Campaigns to Checklists, the old format of your Custom Excel analysis will disappear. If you have a custom Excel analysis built out of the Data Export feature, you should convert them into a Data Export analysis in order to not lose your analysis :

  1. Download the Custom Excel analysis (we will call it in this article old template) directly from the campaign.

2. In SimpliField, go to the Data Export feature

3. Create your Data Export by clicking on “Create new extract” (step 1)

a. Provide a name to your exports (step 2)

Which use cases do you want to tackle? Data evolution between 2020/2021, number of reports on multiple campaigns...

→ In this tuto we'll take the example of the nb of reports done by users

b. Add the data sources: meaning select the campaigns you want to analyze in your export

For that, you have to type the name of your campaign, select it and click on “OK” as shown below (step 3, 4 & 5)

c. Set-up your export

Here, you have to select first the data source: reports, campaign, stores infos (step 6)

Then you can pick & choose the information you want by ticking them (step 7)

See the result in the preview section: each information corresponds to a column (step 8)

You can also rearrange your columns by dragging a column where you want it to be and dropping it there.

Volumetry advise: pick & choose only the information that will be necessary for your analysis to avoid increasing the size of your file for no reason

Click on "create" to save your export (step 9)

4. Export the Data Export you just created

5. On the old template you downloaded at first (1st step), in the “Reports” tab, suppress all the datas

6. On the new template you just downloaded (4th step), copy the “Reports” tab and paste in the “Reports” tab of the old template

7. On the old template, in the “DB” tab (the tab where your analysis is sourced from, it may be named a different way), adapt the reference of your formulas to align them to the Reports tab (indeed, some columns may have changed at the 6th step).

8. On the old template, in the “Reports” tab, keep the headers and erase all the values contained in the lines

9. On the old template, you can hide the “DB” and the “Reports” tab so you will directly see your analysis when opening the file

10. Save your file (old template)

11. Import the file (old template) in the brand new Data Export you created at step 3.c and click on Save.

12. Download your analysis whenever you want, it will be real-time updated.
